Client publishes three monthly magazines to both print and web. Web sites had robust content but cumbersome to use and very difficult to find content.
Jack's new site design allows for a completely dynamic site that displays relevant content. Users can now drill down into content in multiple ways: by author, publication, category or content type while other related content is suggested to them. Streamlined design simplified the interface.
The new UX had dramatic results on user engagement:
· Bounce rate decreased: 26%
· Pages per visit: +39%
· Avg page duration: +221%
Also as part of the redesign project, we helped to streamline the workflow process and implemented enterprise-level software, Woodwing Content Station, that manages all production and processes. Now, through one system, one Article could be pushed out to multiple outputs such as print (InDesign), web (Drupal), or social media in any of their publications. This solved a client business issue while allowing them to become more efficient in production.
